Lepinski k9 seminars focus heavily on developing the human part of the team through lectures, video, demonstration, as well as practical work with dogs. Course descriptions for seminars offered are detailed below. But can be tailored to fit the needs of the group.

DECOY FUNDAMENTALS

Attendees will learn: how to recognize and manipulate drive states, the mechanics of grip work, targetting, basic catches, adding pressure and drive channeling, passive bite progression, man orientation techniques, teaching and maintaining control skills. DETECTION

Attendees will learn about: the science of odor and k9 senses. Direct and indirect reward techniques, how to maximize the "hunt" in your dog, odor imprinting, Indication training, Proofing, and handling throughout. Ask about specials for American Schutzhund clubs. PSA HANDLING

Attendees will learn about handling for both training and trial in all levels of PSA. Focusing on both obedience and protection. ECOLLAR COMMUNICATION 

Growing up competing in hunt tests and field trials, then training dogs for police and specialized military units, and competing to the highest levels of PSA and American schutzhund, Lepinski k9 has detailed and well rounded experiences with using ecollar as part of a bigger overall communication system with the dog. Many other ecollar classes will teach you how to use your ecollar for XYZ, my goal is to teach you how to use your ecollar so you don't need your ecollar as often!For seminars on any topic 10 dog/handler teams are requested as a minimum, Seminars are available in 2 or 3 day formats. FUNDAMENTALS FOR SUCCESS WITH ANN QUIGLEY 

A 2 day seminar with Instruction from Ann Quigley on the fundamentals for success in competion obedience. Day 2 is taught by Ben Lepinski on the fundamentals for successful bitework. This joint seminar is heavily focused on lecture and teaching the concepts that Ben and Ann both value in building a successful competition dog.
